Self motivation and enthusiasm

In Chris’ time as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach, armed with self-motivation and enthusiasm, he’s found that anyone is capable of achieving anything. Chris insists that fitness should never be a passing phase but rather, a way of life for everyone in order to maintain a balanced lifestyle.

Chris joins The Underground Fitness Club team with a wealth of experience under his belt. In addition to being a qualified fitness instructor, Chris has worked extensively as a Personal Trainer since completing Certificates 3 and 4 at the Australian Institute of Fitness in 2010.

His career as a Personal Trainer/Life Coach has seen him working at some of the most renowned establishments in Australia.

Since childhood, Chris has been passionate about everything related to sports and fitness, embarking on his sporting career at the age of 5 when he began playing AFL football. At 12-years-old, Chris began playing soccer, working his way through the Under 13s, 14s, 15s and 16s. In 2007, Chris was selected starting as keeper for the Australian Private Schools team. From there, he was then selected as keeper again for a combined Under 19 team competing in Germany. At just 16 years of age, Chris was the youngest member of the team.

Soon after, in August 2007, Chris spent three weeks on trial with the Scottish Premier League team, Hearts of Midlothian Football Club. He went on to spend another 3 months in Europe which also saw him coaching the Under 13 Australian squad competing in an Italian tournament.

Chris’ experience throughout Europe proved that his commitment to the sport and skill level was promising. In a bad stroke of luck, Chris was forced to return to Australia due to injury. His time overseas saw him exposed to some of the world’s finest athletes and trainers, however. His time playing competitively imbued him with self-discipline, while his time spent coaching taught him how to relate to all types of personalities and adjust his coaching style according to the individual in question.

Since then, Chris has put the knowledge gained during this period to good use, boosting the fitness and overall confidence of the numerous clients he’s worked with over the years by devising personal programs to suit their various needs. His time at Total Health Management Training Studio saw him engaging in boxing, cross training techniques and providing general assistance to the studio’s many clients.

Meanwhile, Chris has also continued to train with some of the best athletes and boxers in the country, spending three months in training with Sam Soliman (holder of numerous middleweight boxing titles including the Australia Super Middleweight and Commonwealth British Empire Middleweight titles).
